“Tenable” questions, 27 April 2021 [Series 5 Episode 37]

A new series of ITV quiz show “Tenable” began on Monday 15 February. Here are the questions and answers for Tuesday 27 April, Series 5 Episode 37 (S5Ep37). Sally Lindsay continues to stand in for the show’s usual presenter Warwick Davis. [Repeated on Tuesday 14 September 2021.]

Round 5 (The Captain’s Round): 10 US states with abbreviations that are chemical symbols [“The ‘Tenable’ Tower will show the names of 10 chemical elements; the two-letter chemical symbol of each of these elements is the same as the two-letter abbreviation of a US state, designated by the US Postal Service; we are looking for the full name of the US state that corresponds to each chemical element on the Tower.”]
