Notes from West London

The 4-Ring Man, in pictures (Part 4, Dec 2019–Feb 2020)

Following on from three previous pieces (listed below) here’s another set of photos showing what remains after a pint of beer and a packet of crisps have been dealt with. They were taken at various bars in London. The concept of “The 4-Ring Man” was originally covered in this piece from 2018.

As before, many of these photos were taken while out and about with my son, who turned 15 last November and, as reported many times on these pages, loves going to the pub. He loves going to the pub but (unlike me at his age) he doesn’t drink beer, so there are glasses of soft drinks in many of the pictures too.

I have reported numerous times about visiting every pub in my postcode. The photos below “complete the set”. Every pub in London W4 has featured either in the 14 photos listed below or somewhere in one of the previous pieces:

Today is the first Sunday in Lent and I will mostly be off the beer until Easter Sunday (12 April 2020) so there will be no additions to these photos for a while. As noted elsewhere, each pub or bar features only once. There are no duplicates. As usual I have included the date, pub (and location), and what was in the glass to begin with.
