Following on from this piece at the start of the year, here’s another set of photos showing what remains after a pint of beer and a packet of crisps have been dealt with. They were taken at various bars in West London, Spain and Ireland. The concept of “The 4-Ring Man” was originally covered in this piece from 2018.
As before, many of these photos were taken while out and about with my 14-year-old son, who, as reported many times on these pages, loves going to the pub. He loves going to the pub but (unlike me at his age) he doesn’t drink beer, so there are glasses of soft drinks in many of the pictures too. Our pub visits were far less frequent during the spring than they were at the start of 2017, when I reported regularly about visiting every pub in my postcode. During the summer holidays our stops for refreshment have been a bit more frequent. The last set of pictures featured 18 different venues, and this one has 15. Every pub or bar features only once. There are no duplicates. As before I have included the date, pub (and location), and what was in the glass to begin with.
