Here are the questions and answers for the current series of ITV quiz show “Tenable”, episodes broadcast between Monday 4 and Friday 8 November 2019, Series 4 Episodes 15-20 (S4Ep15, S4Ep16 and so on).

Final Round: 1990s Pop Songs: The first 10 words of six or more letters in ‘Wannabe’ by the Spice Girls [Does not include the word “Wannabe” or “Zigga-zig-ah”, in any of its possible spellings.]

Round 1: The 10 Elton John hit singles that start with the letters ‘C’ or ‘D’ [The 10 singles that reached number 40 or higher in the UK singles chart, according to the Official Charts Company, as of May 2019; singles released as a double A side will be included as individual answers.]

Round 2: The 10 unique words in the names of 2018/19 Premiership Rugby teams [The 10 unique words, other than place-names, that feature in the names of rugby union teams playing in the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership season.]

Round 3: The first 10 US Presidents after VE Day [The first 10 different US Presidents after VE Day, in 1945.]

Round 4: The first 10 six-letter words ending in the letters ‘BER’ [According to Chambers 21st Century Dictionary on Chambers.co.uk; each word has its own entry and is in blue on the website; does not include hyphenated words, words with apostrophes or any word that the dictionary spells with an initial capital letter; does not include words with US spelling, or the words “cobber” or “dobber” as they are listed as Australian and New Zealand slang;  this list is as of 22 May 2019.]

Round 5 (The Captain’s Round): The 10 expert specialities and presenters of ‘Antiques Roadshow’ [The team of experts on the TV programme ‘Antiques Roadshow’ cover nine areas of specialism; one of them is named “miscellaneous”; “We are looking for the other eight categories of specialism as well as the two most recent main presenters of the programme, as of April 2019”.]

Final Round: European Geography: the 10 countries that border Austria or Hungary with populations over one million [Countries that border Austria or Hungary or both, with populations over one million, not including either Austria or Hungary; as of March 2019.]

Round 1: The first 10 Top 20 singles by Take That with two- or three-word titles [According to the Official Charts Company as of June 2019.]

Round 2: The 10 Beatrix Potter books with title characters that are rabbits or rodents [This is about the 23 classic children’s books that were published by Beatrix Potter during her lifetime; does not include the two collections of nursery rhymes.]

Round 3: The 10 longest-serving English Premier League football managers in May 2019 [The managers of the sides in the Premier League on the last day of the 2018/19 season, Sunday 12 May 2019; in some cases the managers were in charge of their teams when they were outside the Premier League.]

Round 4: The first 10 contestants on ‘Love Island’ 2019 [The first 10 contestants to appear on the first episode of Series 5 of ‘Love Island’, broadcast 3 June 2019; first names are acceptable answers.]

Round 5 (The Captain’s Round): Top 10 A-level subjects in Summer 2018 [The 10 subjects for which most students gained a grade, based on provisional results published by the Joint Council for Qualifications on its website jcq.org.uk.]

Final Round: Monarchs: The 10 regnal names of monarchs of England since the Battle of Hastings to start with a consonant [Since the defeat of Harold II in 1066 there have only been 10 regnal names of kings and queens who ruled England that start with a consonant; some of these monarchs also had the title of ruling Great Britain or the United Kingdom; this list does not include kings or queens who only ruled in Scotland, and does not include Matilda or Lady Jane Grey as monarchs; as of May 2019.]

Round 2: The 10 male professional dancers in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ 2018 [They were central figures in the series broadcast in 2018; not all of these dancers were paired with a celebrity; first names are acceptable as answers.]

Round 3: The first 10 words of five letters or more in ‘Take on Me’ by A-ha

Round 4: The 10 English cities with names that end in the letters ‘E’ or ‘N’

Round 5 (The Captain’s Round): The 10 principal actors in ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’ [The actors who played the 9 members of The Fellowship of the Ring and the character who is in possession of the one ring at the start of this 2001 film in the “Lord of the Rings” series.]

Final Round: Prime Ministers: The 10 UK prime ministers either side of Winston Churchill’s first term [The five different individuals who served before Churchill’s first term as prime minister and the five who served after he left office for the first time.]

Round 1: The 10 countries with the most popular cuisines [The 10 overseas countries with the most popular type of cuisine, taken from the British results of an international YouGov study carried out between May and December 2018.]

Round 2: The first 10 major characters Oliver meets in London in ‘Oliver Twist’ [The first 10 major characters Oliver meets or spends time with when he reaches London; “major character” here means any named character that appears in more than one chapter of the book.]

Round 3: The last 10 Chris Pratt films [The last 10 films that feature the actor Chris Pratt, according to IMDb as of 30 April 2019.]

Round 4: The first 10 chemical element names alphabetically with seven or fewer letters

Round 5 (The Captain’s Round): Top 10 goal-scoring clubs of all time in the Premier League [The 10 clubs that have scored the most goals in the Premier League from its establishment in 1992 to the end of the 2018/19 season, on 12 May 2019, according to the Premier League website.]

Final Round: Disney Songs: The first 10 words of six or more letters in ‘The Bare Necessities’ from ‘The Jungle Book’ [The first 10 different words of six or more letters; includes contracted words, which contain apostrophes.]
